Revamp your kitchen

Revamp your kitchen

What do you do when your kitchen just isn’t filling you with joy anymore? Maybe you like the worktops and cupboards, but it just isn’t providing that wow factor that it once did.

Just because you want to make a change, doesn’t mean that you have to rip out all your units and start again.

We share some tips on how to update your space with minimal fuss.

Replace tired tile splashbacks

Injecting some architectural style and additional colour can be done by simply replacing your tired tile splashbacks. Create a contemporary look with our Metro and Liso Ranges. These tiles, when combined with coloured grout, create an eye-catching focal point for your room. Fresh grout also creates a smooth clean look, although you can keep yours looking spotless with a professional grout cleaner.

Alternatively, for a more classical finish, or to fit heritage style and traditional kitchens, it’s worth considering a patterned Mediterranean tile from our Comfort C Range. These beautiful Italian porcelain tiles work with a variety of colour schemes and will remain on trend for many years to come.

If you want to reuse your old or left-over tiles, why not think about using them on an outside table, protecting it from the weather and tying your outside space with indoors.

Respray cabinets and change the handles

If you like the design of your cabinets but just want to freshen them up, you could consider painting them a different colour or having them resprayed. This works particularly well if you have kitchen units that are high-quality but that feel slightly dated and is an economical option, enabling you to splash out on some beautiful mosaic tiles for your walls.

Bring tiles back to your kitchen floor

Changing your kitchen flooring can add a touch of luxury to well-trodden surfaces and tiles are easy to keep clean too. Our Logwood tiles create a hygienic surface whilst creating a wood style effect for your floor. This pulls in a natural vibe without the rigmarole of maintaining a wooden floor.

Alternatively, you could accentuate your existing kitchen with a patchwork patterned floor designed to deliver a quirky and individual look or install Symphony Grey Ret for a more polished finish.
